The Inner Workings of a Chibi.
Wow

Uh… seeing since the wineglass here has the most hits I’ve had on tumblr (http://brichibi.tumblr.com/post/22443320060/i-suppose-this-works-for-shin-megami-tensei-in) I should go ahead and make more.  Seriously guys, thank you so much!  I was honestly just messing around with an idea and it seems to have worked out great  :)

This item (and others) are available on my Etsy page, and requests can be made (http://www.etsy.com/shop/snowtigra?ref=si_shop) I think I’m going to try and do the Magician next ^^

I’m feeling a bit Wicked today (see what I did there?  Hahaha… ha… yeah…)  Anyhow, these are the things I’ve made from “Wicked,” because I’m in love with the cover.  The first is a mirror.  The mirror is a dark brown with parts painted green, then the face is painted on the glass.  The second is a new item that’s actually available for purchase!  It’s a wineglass :)  As always with glass things (and my things in general) it’s completely usable, with a protective gel on it so it can be washed.

Be sure to check out the shop for other things available, or to request things: http://www.etsy.com/shop/snowtigra?ref=si_shop on the shop is also my partner’s adorable plushies and other things, like hats ^^

I’ve made TMNT shotglasses before, but this is a new style.  Decided to do Michelangelo first but I do plan on making the other turtles (and maybe, for a major hit of WTF nostalgia, one of Venus De Milo, lol!)  As always with the glass things, glass paint is used then covered with a protective gel to make it dishwasher safe and everything.

The front is Mikey’s face, the back is the back of the bandanna, and the bottom is a turtle shell so when you look inside the glass you see it  :)  This item is currently available for purchase, just send me a note if interested (or if you want a certain turtle, but remember, I AM going to make them all!)

I suppose this works for Shin Megami Tensei in general, but this was inspired by Persona in particular.  This also works for people into tarot as a whole  :)  This is the first of what will probably be many wineglasses since I also want to do something for The Magician, Judgment, and some other ones (I really want to do Fortune but I don’t know if I can ^^;;;)

The wineglass represents The Fool.  It is hand painted then there’s a protective gel on it that makes it safe for use.  It can also be washed.  This glass in particular is available for purchase right now so if you’re interested, feel free to let me know  :)

Oh, and also, thank you for all of the hits on the Shin Megami Tensei clocks!

Shin Megami Tensei clocks!  The first has Jack Frost on it, one of my favorite persona.  Jack Frost is painted on the glass with the Shin Megami Tensei logo behind him  :)  The second clock is just of the logo in black and white.  It might be hard to see in the picture, but there’s a small clock sitting on top of the big one (the person who made the order wanted the logo in both a big and small size).

As always, feel free to ask about commissions ^^

Oh snap

I think I may have figured out how to make Persona 4 arcana wine glasses  O.O  Making things ahead of time for cons = fun  :)

My Little Derp Derp, Derpity Derp Derp.  New shotglass available for purchase, this time it’s of Derpy Hooves from MLP.  Because what better face to see when taking shots than Derpy’s  ^^

The face is painted on the outside bottom of the glass so when you look into the glass you see Derpy.  On the side is Derpy’s cutie mark  :)  Completely usable and dishwasher safe.

Newly made Pikachu shotglass for sale made by me  :)  The glass is completely usable and dishwasher safe.  Pikachu’s face is painted on the outside bottom of the glass so when you look into it, you can see him smiling at you.  Pika pika ^^  The glass itself has his tail painted on it.  Chu!  ^^

This picture makes me so happy  :)

As a friend of mine recently said to me and my partner, “I’ve seen some geeky rooms in my day, but never one like this from two girls.”  My partner and I bought a house last August and when we saw we have two extra bedrooms on the first floor we knew what to do.  One will be my office, for writing and art and things, and the second is… well, this  :)

Everything is hand drawn and painted by me and my partner.  She did the Sonic painting inside the closet and the Tetris on the side of it (which she decided to do a messed up game of Tetris instead of a perfect one since “this is what happens to me when I play).  She also painted Jack Frost on the side of the window, and we’re going to paint shadow Teddie above it since he looks so cool.  Meanwhile, I did the Konami code above the door, the Portal painting with Wheatley, the Starfox ship, and Katamari (she helped with the portal and Wheatley) in space, and the pac-man around the shelves.  The TMNT picture above the portal was also made by me.

Our ceiling is black, which we plan to paint a portal on the moon once we get the chance.  Portal 2 fans will know why  :)  We also are going to paint a MegaMan level above one of the windows because we got an awesome 2D MegaMan item from Anime Milwaukee.  Also thinking about getting the King of all Cosmos on the ceiling, too.

All of the figures, video games, manga, anime, blu rays, standees, and everything is a combination of all of our things.  Once we got out of the apartment we had much more room to spread things out.  There’s more figures in our living room, more of the "fancier” or high quality ones, like a lot of our comic book figures and such.  The living room is also where all of the game systems are (but we’re trying to figure out how to make room in the Geek Room – which this room is called – for the Magnovox Odyssey my dad just straight up GAVE me)

The Geek Room does NOT have all of our figures, there’s still some randomly in boxes that we need to get out  ^^;;;  Our next project is painting the bathroom next to the Geek Room in an underwater Mario theme.  We already have the walls painted blue and all of my little Mario figures are around the sink.

So, in conclusion, my geekery spreads across everything, clearly.  I’m lucky to have a fantastic partner who’s just as geeky as me (she’s more anime while I’m more video games, but combined it makes wonderful things like this).
