The Inner Workings of a Chibi.

This post is also known as “why do I take on crazy projects the week of a con?”  I plan on having a full set of progress pictures when this is completely done, but this is the progress I made today.  Started with the blanket mirror, sketched Sailor Moon in dry erase marker so it could be wiped off the glass easily, then handpainted her and added stars  :)

All that’s left to do is the symbols on the round parts.  The inner and outer scouts (8 circles), Chibi Moon (1 circle), Sailor Starlights (1 circle because they have the same symbol), Tuxedo Mask (1 circle), and Sailor Moon’s locket (1 circle).

This will be in the art show at Daisho this weekend, along with some more nifty things, including a Black Butler mirror and a set of Attack on Titan woodburnings.  Gonna finish all the crazy things  *__*

Whee art!

Oh my dear god I finished these before Gee.Kon.  The top picture is the before picture, where I sketch on the shield and swear a lot.  The bottom picture is what it looks like after being woodburned.  I still have to apply the coat of poly to it, but besides that these are DONE!  I hope everyone likes them?

Reblogging for the morning crew.  Also to say that we’ll be heading out to Geek.kon tomorrow morning, so if you’re going these will be at our table on Friday.  Artist alley opens at 3.  I have a panel at 3, lol, but my partner will be at the table  :)

I’ll be Tiana all weekend.  Normal Tiana is Friday, then armored Tiana is Saturday, then on Sunday I think I’m just doing the make up and hair and wearing like a dress or something, you know, modern Tiana or “I’ve been at a con all weekend and I’m tired,” Tiana  ^^;;;

Progress pics and the final product. Vinyl Scratch clock is ready for Geek.kon

Launched!

atelierMUSE is now officially live! You can see our main website here, and you can also use all the social media links in the sidebar to follow us however you prefer!

We’re looking forward to keeping you guys updated on all of our projects, commissions, and future publications!

The official launch of my freelance site with Simon, : ) Please spread the word, follow, like, etc etc~

Our biggest goal at the moment is to get our fan-works community project, MUSEbasement, up and running again. We take in artists who want to learn how to make comics, and through a series of workshops on sequential art we then release a doujinshi.

We have already done one for Gravitation and another for Weiss Kreuz. (Simon and I independently made the Persona 4 Kannao one.) Our next community project is for Samurai Champloo, :3

Following you on Tumblr and Facebook  :)  Congratulations on the store!  I wish you so much success you have no idea!  Everyone, follow this store!
