Here it is!  The progress pictures of the Sailor Moon mirror leading up to the final product at the end.  Thanks so much everyone for the great response  <3  I can’t wait to bring this to Daisho Con and put it in the art show, now I just need to figure out what to set the price at, lol.  

This was a lot of fun to do.  I’ve had this mirror sitting in my closet for years and wanted to do something with it.  With the return of Sailor Moon the answer was clear  :)  If you click on each picture there’s comments on how each part was done.

This post is also known as “why do I take on crazy projects the week of a con?”  I plan on having a full set of progress pictures when this is completely done, but this is the progress I made today.  Started with the blanket mirror, sketched Sailor Moon in dry erase marker so it could be wiped off the glass easily, then handpainted her and added stars  :)

All that’s left to do is the symbols on the round parts.  The inner and outer scouts (8 circles), Chibi Moon (1 circle), Sailor Starlights (1 circle because they have the same symbol), Tuxedo Mask (1 circle), and Sailor Moon’s locket (1 circle).  

This will be in the art show at Daisho this weekend, along with some more nifty things, including a Black Butler mirror and a set of Attack on Titan woodburnings.  Gonna finish all the crazy things  *__*

So I’ll be at Animinneapolis this weekend with a table.  I wanted to have more of these done but I’ll probably only have a couple.  Things have been extremely hectic lately with the book release and everything.  This is just an example of what’ll be at my table, there will be more fun woodburnings, and clocks, and plushies, and things.  So if you’re going to Animinneapolis, be sure to look for me  :)

Since I’m getting ready for Animinneapolis it’s epic crafting time so that my partner and I have a full art table.  One style I noticed that is crazy popular is pixel art, so I thought I would give it a try with woodburning.  These are pixel coasters of Megaman and Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph.  This was quite the adventure  :)  The grid is woodburned, then the dark parts are woodburned in each individual square, then the right colors are painted in each square  ^^  I’m surprised they turned out this spiffy! 

You’ve seen the entire set.  Now, commissions are open!  I am taking commissions on the Persona 3/Persona 4 woodburned tarot cards.  I have three leftover from Anime Central (Empress, Temperance, and Aeon) but can make any of the others if you’re interested.  Coasters are $5 a piece, but deals can be made for multiple orders  :)

Hi guys!  So this is why I’ve been so scarce on Tumblr lately (that and spending time with my dad).  We’re getting ready for Anime Central this weekend and have been working like crazy.  This isn’t all of the coasters I’ve finished, but it’s the most recent ones.

If you’re going to ACEN, be sure to come look for me!  Sewn Together Reflections, booth #41  :)  We’ll also be taking commissions on everything offered at our table, so if there’s something in particular that you want, just let us know.

So I’ve never posted an artist alley map to show where our table is before, but Anime Central is HUGE, so I think I should.  This is the biggest con we’ve done so we're super stressed and never OMG pretty excited.  Our table offers clocks, woodburnings, mini plushies, hats, and all sorts of things.  This is where we’ll be in case you’re going to ACEN and want to swing by for purchases, ordering things, or just big smiles and hugs  ^^

Progress picture of yet another insane project I shouldn’t be doing, but am doing, for a con.  Anime Central is next weekend, but I’m still determined to get this done.  This will be a big woodburning of the MCs of Persona 3 and Persona 4 (Souji/Yu/Minato/Makoto).  Still not finished shading, but I only work on it before work in the morning  ^^

Anime Central, why are you so soon?!  More importantly, why am I so insane with woodburning projects?
