What does it mean to be magical?
Who decides who is magical?
What does it take to be magical?
Am I magical?Are we?
It starts out simple enough: there’s monsters roaming around the city, and there’s girls ready to save the day. They balance their normal lives with their magical lives, and attempt to follow the magical girl formula of proper transformations, elegant attacks, and stunning poses. But even the most dedicated magical girl begins to ask questions. Where are the monsters coming from? Where did their powers come from? Were they the first ones to be appointed as magical girls, because these transformation tools feel well-worn, as if there’s some history behind them.
Is it worth seeking answers to these questions, or is it better to follow the status quo?

So one of the things I plan on doing for my new book series is having little comic pages in the book :) They’ll be little illustrated snippets from select scenes in the book.

Marianna Jacobs is an 18-year-old college student with dreams of being a baker. She often does things by the book and could be considered as the leader of the group. Welcome, everyone, to the world of “magnifiqueNOIR”, a book series that delves into the lives of a group of extraordinary magical girls who defend the lives of the people around them. Along the way, they face new challenges that may undo everything that they’ve become, but even so, they always work to be the best women they can be.
This page is dedicated to their adventures, adventures that I feel many others can identify with (minus a horrific monster or two, lol), and I hope their stories can make people realize something very important:

The middle of winter has given the residents of the warehouse plenty of time to mull over their last adventure. The Storyteller has been found, but has left behind only more questions and no real answers. Just when the group exhausts all of their resources, a new organization comes to the surface that could tie up all the loose threads.
Unfortunately, the Chapter isn’t what it appears to be, and the Hunters are now left to deal with a new threat that hits a little too close to home. What secrets is the Chapter hiding, and is it worth uncovering the truth?
