Happy New Year, magical ones! I haven’t updated in FOREVER! The end of 2017 was full of conventions back to back so I didn’t have much time.

I wanted to say thank you for a really great launch of my book magnifiqueNOIR! It’s been about 3 months and the reception for it has been great! I’m gonna be pushing it even harder this year and I hope to have (at least) the rough draft for book two done by the end of the year! I’ll be approaching bookstores about carrying the book and, of course, I’m always looking for reviewers and places to feature it!

In case you want a taste of the Black Girl Magic going on with my queer magical girls, you can check them out here:

Hey everyone!  We’re really excited about Anime Milwaukee!  Here’s my cosplay line up, my table location, and some of the stuff that my wifey and I will have available over the weekend.  Hug Me Heroes, woodburned work, books, and new cosplay!  This is our first con in our convention line up for the year <3

Also, I’m going to be taking pictures and sharing them on the #28DaysOfBlackCosplay hashtag everywhere I can!

Hope to see you there!

i feel like reading fanfic has kind of broken my desire to read published stories bc like theyre so bland tbh like. where the hell am i gonna get queer android romance in a bookstore. who writes about past assassins working together in a coffeeshop. all i see are straight white people making out like really like REALLY

Perhaps you should read published works by former fanfiction writers wink wink nudge nudge I’m talking about myself ^__^  Also my holiday story coming out this year has queer POC as the lead characters <3

My wifey and I were featured in a blog this morning :)

Anime Central in Chicago last weekend was so much fun that we actually forgot to take pictures of everyone who bought our books!  We managed to snap a couple and even got one of the new table setup.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and for all the support!  We are happy to report that we came home with only a suit case full of books - when we arrived with three boxes!!

Now time to take a breather, then we’ll be at WisCon this weekend!  We won’t have a table, but you can still find us there doing writer research things!

Thanks again everyone for making Anime Central a huge success!

Thank you, everyone, who came out to our table at Anime Central!  Happy reading!

Here is the “this is where to find us at Anime Central” post along with some of the things you can expect to see at our table.  We’ll be setting up the table today and then be ready to go tomorrow.  Also the cosplay pictures is my line up for the con:

Friday:  Tiana

Saturday:  Neo Queen Serenity

Sunday:  Storm

Hope to see everyone there!

Getting ready for Minneapolis Comic Con tomorrow!  Here’s where you can find us, some of the things that’ll be at our tables, and costumes you can expect  :)  Hope to see you there!

Recent interview I did  <3

Just finished an interview  :)  I love when they ask me about my geeky stuff too  ^___^

“I know of the Storyteller,” it whispers into the man’s ear, “I’ve met him. If you promise not to kill me, I’ll take you to him.”

Did you miss getting a signed copy of “Seeking the Storyteller” at one of our conventions? Would you like a signed copy complete with a one of a kind sketch in the front of one of the characters? Of course you would! Check out our Etsy store for your copy now!

All right.  This is a thing now.  And it’s taking a while for it to set in that it is a thing, but it’s a thing, and I want this thing to shine.  Spread the word, get a copy, leave a review, this whole thing means the world to me and my partner.  This is our baby.  It sounds weird, but it is.  This is how we stayed in touch while we lived apart and it’s so hard to believe after all of these years, this is a thing now.

So help us get it out there  <3  And, most of all, enjoy it.
