That barbarous barber Telly was trying to cut perfect Carlos’ perfect hair. Thankfully a good citizen of Night Vale handed me an object with which to stop such a terrible event from happening.

This is perfect!
Imagine, if you will, Carlos’ first week in Night Vale. He doesn’t have much time for entertainment, such as watching T.V. or tuning into the radio show that he’s heard others talking about — including his colleagues. He’s too busy trying to settle in.
But.
As he wanders around town, going to the grocery store, to the bank, and other such places he can’t help but hear the whispers. ”So that must be Carlos.” ”Oh my, he really is perfect.” ”Why did Telly cut his hair?” Carlos is confused, but he shrugs it off. The little town is weird, so these whispers could mean anything. But even his coworkers are talking about him. “Beautiful, perfect Carlos,” giggle snort. So, finally, he asks them what’s going on. They tell him about Cecil’s radio show and how he goes on and on about him.
So Carlos goes home and tunes in, and he’s surprised to hear such a low, enticing voice complimenting him in every sentence. He wonders if he should be a touch bit creeped out since he’s never met this Cecil person, but a much larger part of him feels flattered.
From that day forward, he walks around Night Vale with a smile, telling people that he is, indeed, the beautiful Carlos. Someday, he’ll call into the station and talk with Cecil, or go visit him, but for now he’s content with that smooth, wonderful voice that calls him perfect.

More Night Vale headcanons because I can’t stop. At all. I mean I tried honest but I just have to write them. Because Carlos, man. Perfect Carlos. And Cecil. And how the heck did it get so many notes so quickly?!
“Perfect, beautiful, Carlos…”
Carlos’ decided to listen to the Night Vale Radio Station while doing calculations one evening, not expecting to learn that he had an admirer.
The smile on my face when he smiled, just… wow. Perfect cosplay.

Is anyone not 100% behind the idea that Carlos has a definite thing for Cecil’s voice? Because I assumed that just went with the territory.
ding ding ding you have found my audiophile fapper weakness
Well I didn’t but I do now shit.
A follow up to this write up or “how Cecil deals with complaints about his loving broadcast about Carlos and sexy times.” Semi NSFW but not too bad.
I can’t stop writing Night Vale someone please help.
Series: Welcome to Night Vale
Warnings: Cecil POV, NSFW
Pairing: Cecil/Carlos
Notes: Inspired by a conversation with my partner on what would happen if Cecil and Carlos actually did get together.
Reblogging for the night time followers. I got into Night Vale. This is what happened.

What if Cecil is just a regular late night radio host in a normal small town who’s bored and knows nobody really listens to the show from like 11pm-3am so he just makes up quasi-horror stories about the town and his neighbors and stuff
and Carlos has been his boyfriend since day 1 but has been abroad doing research for some time and finally came home, so naturally Cecil makes a big deal about it on his show (Carlos just fondly rolls his eyes at the whole thing)
what Cecil doesn’t know is how his show has suddenly become very popular through word of mouth and a good portion of the town stays up to listen to at least some of it and they’re always secretly pleased to hear themselves mentioned (even Steve Carlsberg), but they try to keep it on the DL so Cecil doesn’t realize his popularity and keeps the show as is
Also, Carlos knows that the town knows and keeps it from his boyfriend, because he’s amused by the things Cecil says about him, and he likes being “that cool radio guy’s boyfriend.” And bathroom cat is just Carlos’ pet cat who is quite normal, but Cecil has never had a pet so he comes up with bizarre things to say (and while Carlos was away he had to figure out cat logic, maybe he’s been a dog person all his life so he finds it weird when the cat doesn’t come when he calls its name, or how he can’t rub it’s tummy, ect). And! The pizza place is just a mom and pop place that Cecil likes, but the town is overrun by the likes of Pizza Hut and Dominos, so Cecil wants to support the local shop.
