I got my fishnet from Torrid and they fit really well, they actually let me try them on first before I bought them.

I got pencil skirts and jeans from Lane Bryant.

Spent Friday and Saturday having a mini-vacation with my wifey before conventions start up again and to relax and de-stress. It worked perfectly  :) While on vacation it became a weekend of trying new looks, from the red dress, to jumper, blonde hair, and even swimwear. Especially swimwear. I kinda have this love/hate relationship with swimwear: I love the way it looks but I hate it because I always think I look terrible. But I’ve been wanting a two piece since the whole fatkini movement, so we went out and I tried one on, along with other things.

It kinda turned into a weekend of feelin’ myself, of actually looking in the mirror and thinking I looked pretty damn good, and I think everyone should have moments where they look in that mirror and smile.

This year has been quite the adventure.  I traveled more than I ever have in my life.  I met so many amazing people.  I got my books and my crafts out there.  I spoke up more than I ever have before about a variety of topics.  It’s just been amazing.  

To be honest, I never, ever expected to have fans, or be asked to be a guest anywhere, or anything like that.  I never imagined having people who want to meet me, and who look up to me.  All of you are so incredible, and are so important to me.  Thank you all so much for supporting me and everything I do.  I love you all <3

And, as always, if you take any cosplay message from me, it’s this: to love your cosplay is to love yourself.  It’s so important to love yourself. There may be negative people out there, and what they say can, and does, hurt.  But don’t let them stop you.  Don’t let them keep you down. Don’t let them define who you are.  YOU define who you are.  You decide who you are.  You hold your life in your hands and you have the power to make the very best out of it.

We decided to have a shopping day and treat ourselves after a flurry of conventions and selling our art and books. It’s so strange looking for things that aren’t cosplay related, lol, but I got myself a new outfit to go with my new natural hair <3

I decided to wear my Sonic the Hedgehog/Green Hill Zone dress on the last day of Geek.Kon because I hadn’t worn it in a while.  I also found a red hat to go with it  <3

It’s amazing what we just have lying around the house.  Oh yeah here’s a wig, some suspenders, a hat, just… yep, have those things randomly.

I don’t always cosplay at a con, and when I don’t… well I don’t always look like this either but you get it ^__^

All right, everyone, my wifey and I want to start taking commissions on hoodies.  This idea came from my desire to have hoodies but never being able to find one in my size.  These are some drawings to start with, but we’d take commissions on any character or series or whatever  :)  We’re still working out the details, but I wanted to share this set of pictures for now  ^^ What I’m thinking is if someone had a request, I’d sketch it out first to make sure it was to your liking before my wifey made it.  Unless, of course, if any of the existing sketches are what a person wants  <3

Feel free to ask us questions on tumblr or on the links below!  Pricing would vary depending on the hoodie (for example, Eternal Sailor Moon wings and all would be more than the Magician, which doesn’t have any extra bits like wings or hair pieces and such)
