Damn.
Oh lord I do this. I do this with people. I did this with martininamerica and we’re friends (whut how?) and he even said, “You can come by and talk to me anytime,” at Geek.Kon and we would talk and I’d be like, “Oh god I know I’m rambling.” Like I do this with people, “I’m bothering you, huh?” And the answer is always, “No, you’re fine,” and part of me thinks, “Nope, nope it’s not fine, I’m now the annoying girl, I should stop.”
It’s amazing how many people do this though. I get messages from people, “Sorry to bother you, just wanted to say you’re amazing.” How is that a bother? But I do it, too! Even if its me complimenting someone, “Hey there I know you’re busy I don’t want to be a bother but I love your work.”
I never really stopped to think about this until now.

Do you ever want to talk to someone but
1) You feel like you’re bothering them or coming off clingy
2) You don’t have anything to say, you just want to talk to them
3) You don’t know how to hold a conversation to save your life
Only every day.
I know some people have said that they’re worried about talking to me but seriously this is me, like I wish I had more to say to fans of my work besides “OMG THANK YOU gush gush giggle gush tee hee,” like I legit wanna chat but I just ramble and fangirl or just smile.

It sounds like my joint book with my partner, “Hunters: Seeking the Storyteller,” is set to begin the editing process in September. Huzzah! Meanwhile, we’ve learned about a fun little thing authors do where they show “text messages” from their characters. So here’s a conversation from our characters, Mira and Cyn.
Cyn is your typical “don’t look at me the wrong way or I will remove your eyeballs and use them as stress balls” kind girl. Mira, on the other hand, believes in rainbows and magic and chocolate candies ^^
Wow I went the whole day without realizing that I didn’t reblog this >.< Anyhow, I found a text message generator life is over. Expect character conversations from my upcoming books and existing books/short stories :)
