Suddenly remembered my lust love for Death Note and Mello and Matt.
Brand new clock finished! I’ve done the L quite a few times as clocks, coasters, and all that jazz. I wanted to do something different to it so why not fill it with candy!
L would want that. He would want that very much.
The inside of the clock is done in black and white because I thought that would fit L better, the outside is painted in a sort of candy cane/lollipop/peppermint style. The second picture shows a close up of what I did, everything is hand drawn/hand painted by me ^^
This clock is available and will be posted on my store pages tomorrow (sleep is required now) but of course you can just message me here, too ^^
So this is how I spent snowtigra’s birthday weekend. My babe and I decided to have an epic crafting weekend that’s still going on right now, I just wanted to show some progress pictures.
The L is in progress for what I’m calling a “Candy Coated L” clock. It’s in black and white, but the L is made up of sweet things and candy, all the things that L loves best ^^
The coasters are a wide variety. Finished some more of the Persona tarot cards, got a little Freakazoid, a Lauren Faust combination of heroines, even Johnny Bravo showed up to the party. All of this stuff is for sale, you can always send me a note on tumblr if you’re interested (since I haven’t posted them on the store sites yet ^^;;;) And as always I take commissions.
Which coasters do you guys like the best?
The fanciest L that ever did L. I found these coasters at the craft store and wanted to see if I could make L even fancier than it already is. This is what I came up with. Woodburning fancy designs are difficult with the curves and my extreme pickiness fun ^^;;;
Like all the other coasters I’ve been posting, these will be at Anime Iowa this year for sale, yay! Just a few more weeks not enough time not enough time NOT ENOUGH TIME!!! I can’t wait :)
And now… Death Note! I love this series so much and have made so many things from it (this isn’t all of it, just a couple of examples to wet your whistle ^^) I think the mirror was the first thing I’ve ever made, and the coasters are the most recent. As always, I will happily take commissions, and I promise not to write them down in my Death Note (that’s a bad attempt at a joke at 1 in the morning ^^;;;)
