So remember that cosplay contest I entered on this cosplay page? Well, I won! Tiana got first place! I got my prizes and am super excited. I got:

You know it’s kind of funny, actually. Growing up, I absolutely hated dresses and make up. Now I feel odd if I’m not getting up early in the morning and doing make up while everyone else is sleeping, or wearing a giant ballgown of some sort at a convention and trying to figure out how to maneuver around in a hoop skirt :)
Because I’m all about embarrassing my wifey displaying our dorky cosplay coupling ways whenever we get a chance to do so. My wifey makes all of our costumes but tends to focus on me more, but sometimes, she gets to cosplay too <3 12 years together and we’re still going strong. You can blame thank her for me cosplaying as much as I do now. Man, whoever thought it would get this far?

So Anime Central was officially “pick on Neo Queen Serenity Day” on Saturday, particularly by Disney villains. First there was Xanatos and Demona from Gargoyles, then Ursula tried to take my voice. What the heck?!

Hey it’s me as Tiana!
So apparently it’s Tiana appreciation week?! I’m going to be at Anime Central this weekend so I wanted to post pictures now :) Here’s my Tiana cosplay. Let’s go in order!
1. I wake up in the morning and question my life decisions because it’s way too early.
2. After a shower I feel slightly more awake and start doing make up. Foundation activate!
3. Eyes are done and hair is in a bun.
4. Hoooooooooooop skirt!
5. In the car like, “What up, I made it in with this giant skirt, yeah!”
6. Transformation complete <3 (taken at Minneapolis Comic Con/Wizard World which is the last con I wore Tiana at, but she’ll be back at Anime Central this weekend!)
