Sleepy Hollow star Orlando Jones REALLY wants to read your fanfic.
In case you have any doubts about Orlando Jones’s fandom cred, here are some of the things we learned from his Twitter feed this weekend:
- He’s visited 4chan.
- He ships Ichabod and his wife, Katrina…
- … but mostly seems to read Ichabod/Abbie friendship fic. Such as this, this, and this.
- He just set up a Tumblr, where he’s already reblogging fan commentary, plus references to the “Make John Green find the thing” meme.
- And he wants IchKatrina and IchAbbie fans to stop arguing, and start writing Ichabod/Irving fanfic instead. As in, slash fanfic about his own character. He even has a couple of ship name suggestions: Ichaving and Irvabod.
I’m not in this fandom, but dayum, this is how you fan interaction. A+++ and all of the internets to Mr Jones.

This is so going to be me with “Hunters.” I swear, if when our book series takes off, I will read your fics, I will like your art, I will be a fan of the fandom :) I’m not even kidding, our cover artist is a guy we met at an anime convention.
Attack on Titan fandom
I think what I love most about this fandom is the amount of insane talent and humor that lies within it.
- “Hey, so I went bungee jumping in my cosplay then photoshopped in a titan.
- "I cosplayed a titan.”
- “I’m a baby and I’m cosplaying the best Levi I can now give me my ba-ba! Make sure it’s clean!”
- “My high school recreated the opening with the students, the rooftop, a copy of the manga, some text books, and an empty classroom.”
- “I made some 3D maneuvering gear that works.”
- “I made an AMV with the opening to My Little Pony/FREE!/Kingdom Hearts/this really awesome music video from a different country but the dance moves sync with it/Madoka/making an omelette/this anonymous note that says ‘you can’t just put the SnK opening to everything’/whatever I’m making one to taking out the trash right now.”
- “I can sing the opening in German/Spanish/English/French/pick a language I’ll even do Klingon.”
- “Check it out I did it on the piano/violin/guitar/the edge of a ruler/pick an instrument.”
- “Look at this fanart, no it’s not official it’s just me sketching lol.”

I wrote a thing for 2012 – the year not the movie. This is a good summary of things I spazzed over that I wasn’t expecting to spaz over (so, for example, Avengers isn’t on there because I expected that to be good, but The Amazing Spider-man is on there because I expected nothing going in and was pleasantly surprised) ^^
