Road tripping to San Japan, it’s an 18 hour trip to San Antonio. Maaaaay have stopped after 6 hours to watch the newest episode of Free, just maybe.

Rin and Nitori’s relationship this season is so important. It shows not only that Rin truly is a gentle hearted person, who just acts out when he’s upset but means well, but it also shows his genuine care for his kohai. He is supportive and teasing with Nitori, and you can see how much happier Nitori is now that Rin is treating him this way. It’s creating an overall great atmosphere on the team, and I think their relationship is a lot of what is helping Rin build his captain skills.
All of this :) When Nitori was watching the race like, “He’s our captain,” I was like, “Yes, yes he is!"

So my wifey and I had a conversation about yesterday’s episode and came to some conclusions, not just about Sousuke, but about Mako and how Sousuke’s feelings about Haru… may mirror Mako’s feelings, too.
