You know I noticed something.

When Haru reaches his hand out, there’s someone (Mako) to grab it from the other side.

When Mako reached out in this part… his hand just hit the wall at the end of the race.

I hope I’m reading too much into this *cries a million tears*

I swear this entire episode was Papa Haru and Mama Mako watching their baby boy Nagisa going through a tough time, then boyfriend Rei comes in to set Nagisa straight.
