So I know I’ve gushed about our cover artist for Seeking the Storyteller before, but I don’t know if that conveyed how much I love his art. I’ve been a huge fan of Lor’s art for years, before I even started doing artist alley tables myself and before I began to cosplay as much as I have been. He’s a great artist and has become a dear friend over the years :)
I’m really happy to see that he’s putting himself online more, because I think his art is amazing and needs more love.
So now he has a Facebook, an Etsy shop, and has been updating his website. Now you can get this gorgeous art for yourself :) He also takes commissions, too!

So this is in the art show at CONvergence. My partner went yesterday to drop my stuff off :) The only thing not pictured (because she didn’t get a chance to take the picture since she had to get back to work) is a TMNT clock and a Wonder Woman clock. If you’re at the con this weekend, check out the table! There’s also business cards since I take custom orders and stuff. I have to say I really like the art show set up at CONvergence, it’s nice and spiffy looking.
Enjoy the con, everyone! I’ll be there on Sunday to pick up whatever doesn’t sell, most likely I’ll be in costume because I’m a geek like that :)
Oh lord I finished all of this in one day. CONvergence is this weekend, and I made some new things to put in the art show. I figured, I should give it a shot, and hopefully people like it enough to bid on it :)
The first picture is of a large woodburning/painting of the tardis. The tardis itself is woodburned, and the words on the sign are actually legible! Everything else is painted to look like it’s flying through space.
The second picture is of a 10 piece coaster set for Game of Thrones of all of the house symbols.
If you’re going to CONvergence, feel free to check out the art show for items like this from me ^^

drogo was easily my favourite character
O.K. so I’ve only seen like one episode of Game of Thrones but I already like these two and I’m terrified to ship them because it’s Game of Thrones and I hear that you should leave your feels at the door when watching.
Progress pictures of woodburnings that will be available for Anime Central. First is Death the Kid from Soul Eater as a big woodburning piece. The second is two Game of Thrones coasters, I hope to have all of the houses done for Anime Central along with the Hunger Games, too. Last, but not least, is Superman, since I’ve kind of been geeking out over him lately thanks to Injustice and the upcoming “Man of Steel.” Batman has always been my favorite, but lately…
For Anime Central I’m trying to have as much woodburnings as I can, but Detour kind of wiped me out since I sold over 70 coasters out of the 100 I had. We’ll see how this goes :)
