ARGH! That awkward moment when you make something and you feel like you should do more to it but you can’t decide what or if it needs more at all and you’re being picky because it’s so simple >.< My lovely partner says to leave it, because adding more would be too much, but when I look at it I just want to paint Teddie’s face on the base of the glass but then when I picture the end result it feels like it would be too much. Why does my brain do these things!

I don’t know why I find this interesting. Maybe my mind is thinking too much, but it seems like in P4, her quote means, “Hey, people don’t think I can hold my own, but I can,” and in P4 Arena she’s past that and is like, “Don’t try and fight me, I’ll just humiliate you if you even try.”

Another article on another site I’ve started to write for NOT P4 related OMG… don’t worry that won’t last long this time it's Injustice: Gods Among Us, a sweet new fighting game being developed by the team behind Mortal Kombat. Honestly, this was one of my favorite things from E3 this year.
Was that me who said I was done with Persona 4 coasters? Yeah… that’s a lie. This is just a sketch and will be woodburned. I always sketch on the coasters first then burn/shade them. This time, it’s Naoto’s turn. With the novel coming out soon I wanted to do something with both versions of her (because I actually like her new design and her old design).
Around the edge I want to write her quote from the game, “I am a woman. And a detective,” because, you know, just because her new design is more womanly doesn’t make her less awesome. I mean… she’s got a motorcycle now! a male cyborg motorcycle but still a motorcycle…

Another clock finished (actually, it was finished before I went to L.A., but I didn’t get a change to put it together until now). This time it’s the Yasogami High pin. I tried to make the side of the clock look like their uniform collars.
I also want to do one for Persona 3 :)

Progress picture of an upcoming clock that should be finished soon. Operation, “Make a lot of stuff for Anime Iowa,” is officially underway :) So this is what the painted face of one of my clocks looks like before I put it inside the clock.
The idea is to paint the edge of the clock like the collar to the school uniform, yeah, that gray part with the little black parts that, I swear, look like Space Invaders ^^;;;
Finally finished the next one! The Magician wineglass now stands next to The Fool ready to take a mortal blow. I’m not sure which one to make next, but I suddenly find myself needing to get more wineglasses as I keep making things for Anime Iowa (and for our shop in general) I sort of want to try The Emperor because my love for Kanji is strong but I also like the design of the Hanged Man. I WILL do Fortune… someday, that design still sort of scares me to try and paint on a glass ^^;;;
