Hey everyone. Some bad news and some kind of good news. The book release has been delayed until November 16th. The kind of good news is that it looks like I’m still getting early release copies (at least in pdf, I get to read it over to make sure it all looks o.k.) which means I have a new idea.

I’m going to give away a copy once a week until release day, which means you’ll be getting the book BEFORE launch <3 I’m going to start this on Monday.  It will most likely be a pdf copy, since that’s what I got this morning. If I get another version I’ll let everyone know.

Since not everyone on Tumblr is part of Facebook (which is where the event is) I’ll do something different for Tumblr.  Just like or reblog this status to get a chance to win  <3  The first giveaway will be on Monday with another one being the following Monday.  

Just to refresh your memory, this giveaway is for “Double Hue,” the M/M romance book I have coming out.  Here’s the synopsis:

When something tragic happens, you want nothing more than to close your eyes and make all of the pain go away. For Gable Peterson it’s a little more complicated than that. When detective Maurice Ashford shows up at his door with news that his boyfriend, Avery Blair, has been found dead, Gable is left devastated. Seeking some sort of comfort, Gable closes his eyes and imagines a world where none of this happened. 

Only, Gable wakes up, he’s surprised to see that Avery is actually still alive.

Book giveaway stuff!  Plushie giveaway coming soon but for now here’s a book giveaway  <3  My book isn’t going to be out until November 16th now, so you’ll be getting it early :)

So I’m definitely thinking plushie giveaway is going to be what’s happening (and my wifey is cool with this, and we want to save prints for later and maybe take better pictures in things and stuff)  :)  Just trying to figure out:

1.  If it should be a plush of me in cosplay, like a chibi black Princess Peach or any other character I’ve done, or a plush of the winner’s choice (as in pick your fav. character or whatever).

2.  If it should just be a straight up giveaway or something fun, like, “share your favorite cosplay/geek moment,” and I’ll pick my favorite(s).

Thoughts?

My wifey and I are trying to decide what to do for a giveaway since the number of followers keeps growing.  For the Facebook page, the giveaway will be done if the page hits 500.  I think for tumblr it should be more, maybe 750?  (it’s actually getting close!)

I think we’ve narrowed the prize down to a mini plushie of a black Princess Peach, or a black Belle, or Tiana. I guess, potentially, there’s also black Neo Queen Serenity since that’s the next cosplay plan for next year, or a black Hilda from the upcoming Zelda game. 

Either a plushie or some sort of autographed postcard  One or the other, I think?  I know I want to do something, but I can’t decide between plushie or signed postcard. I’m posting an example picture of what the mini plushies look like. My wifey gets pretty detailed ^^  I’m still working out the details, but something will be done because I <3 all of you  :)

More of my wifey’s work can be seen on her tumblr.  She takes commissions on, well, a bunch of stuff.  Plushies, costumes, just… yeah, she’s awesome  :)
