I just.. THIS SENTENCE WILL IGNITE AND FUEL MANY DREAMS

I have scrolled down this about 5 times and it has almost made me cry every time omg

This is important

becomingathena:

Ok like I’m here for the whole “if it doesn’t make you happy, don’t do it” movement but like, be smart, yeah? Don’t just quit your job out of the blue, even if it is soul sucking, get another job first. Don’t just kick your roommate out because you aren’t getting along, talk to them first. And don’t say absolutely everything that pops into your mind, because discretion will save your ass on occasion. I’m not saying you can’t live authentically, but be smart.

This is very important!

Pursue your dreams, but please have a plan. If you have to have a job while you’re pursuing said dream, by all means, do that. Use your dream as a break from that job (for instance, when I used to go to conventions to sell my work that was my break from my retail job). Use your dreams as motivation for something better. Work that job so you have the money to pursue your dreams. I’ve seen people up and quit and then not be sure what to do next, and realize that it’s really, really hard to work on those dreams when you’re worried about where the money is going to come from, or if it’s going to be enough.

if i ever become famous i’m going to create a fake account on twitter and tumblr and be part of my own fandom and i will be like bffs with my fans and we’ll fangirl over myself but they would have no idea it’s me

and then one day i would call them on skype and see the blood run out of their faces

i’m afraid of you

I wanna do that

I wanna sit in a panel incognito and then raise my hand for a question then reveal its me.

I wanna walk around artist alley and see fanart of my characters, and request sketches and commissions.

I wanna take pictures with cosplayers.

I wanna do it all.

brichibiwritesthings:

When I see movie trailers now that say things like “Based on the Bestselling Novel” all I can think is “I want that to be me.”

This is what I dream about now.

Dorky writing dreams

brichibiwritesthings:

There’s two things I want to happen with my writing.

1.  My book(s) get so popular that I get invited to conventions as a guest.

2.  My book(s) get so popular that they become memes on tumblr and give people all sorts of feels.

Real talk from my writing blog.
