So I wrote that little blurb of Kanji’s love letter, someone wondered what a letter from Naoto would look like.
Well, here it is ^^ Just like the Kanji one, this can apply to anyone and Naoto, though we all know where my OTP heart lies ^^
Randomly, these are fun to write, and a good break from the original story and trying to get things published thing that’s been going on ^^;;; I do still plan on starting that idol fic thing… at some point?

So I wrote this for a friend in one of those memes going around, to write a love letter in the person’s ask box. I thought I’d share it with everyone since, of course, it’s Kanji and Naoto related ^^;;; It’s a bit snazzier than it was in the ask box since there’s no word limit. Though I suppose, technically, Kanji could be addressing it to anyone really.

This part in Arena is so great! The way she says it, it just… so, so wonderful. She stutters so much over it, and just… this leads to lovely ideas of Kanji trying to teach Naoto how to swear and not be proper all the time.
Kanji: When you have a bad day at work, say, “Fuck this shit!”
Naoto: H-huh?
Kanji: Come on, just try it! "Fuck this shit! Get bent!“
Naoto: U-um… fffffffu…. f-f-fuc-… this… um… shhhh… please to be getting bent?
Kanji: No! Damnit Naoto!
Naoto: I-I apologize, I simply cannot-
Kanji: Just say it!
Naoto: This… t-this particular s-s-shit… is in need of some… f-f-fucking, now please to be getting b-bent…
Kanji: *slaps forehead*
Naoto: fuckthisshitgetbent! *blushes and hides forever*
Kanji: … it’s a start, at least.
I feel like there’s a lot of pressure to make a good Kanji and Naoto headcanon today. I had an idea of like, crazy into Valentine’s Day Kanji, but realized that it’s reversed in Japan so that would have to be for White Day? I guess?
That, and I thought of something else that might be a tad bit sweeter? I hope? Anyhow, Happy day of chocolates and things :)

I’m going to TRY and write this into something longer for Valentine’s Day, we’ll see! Here’s a quick thought process:
Kanji Tatsumi takes Valentine’s Day very, very seriously, ESPECIALLY since he’s got a girlfriend now. And every Valentine’s Day Naoto feels a sense of dread, because she knows she’s going to wake up to perfectly crafted pink hearts, an unhealthy amount of chocolate, and all sorts of romance that she doesn’t want to participate in. She even reminds him that, you know, the girl is supposed to be the one doing this for the guy here in good ol’ Japan, but Kanji doesn’t care, damnit!
Besides, she’s kinda a guy anyway, right?
So it’s hearts and candy and teddy bears and other embarrassing fluff all day, no matter where she is – school, the station, just… it’s the worst day ever.
And she loves every second of the worst day of her life.
Another request done, whoo! This time it’s for Simon Gannon, the wonderful husband of KrisRix. He requested a Kanji and Yukiko story, which took me by surprise, but then I immediately got an idea :)
