man you know what I want? a superhero series where they have powers that 100% contradict their personalities. a fishermans daughter who lives by the sea, swims every day, learns that she can control fire. a boy who’s mortified of heights but realizes he can use antigravity and hates it. someone who was bitten by a dog as a child, suffers extreme fear around animals, can now communicate with them. they’re all disgusted by their powers.
write a book
This would be really good! Can’t you just see it? It would be such a great way to show characters needing to accept who they are even if they fear it. Not only that, but people would go about it all wrong to try and convince them to accept themselves. Like someone would be falling from a high building and the boy who can fly, who is afraid of heights, would just stand there shaking and the crowd who knows he can fly would be like, “GO AND SAVE HER WHAT ARE YOU DOING DON’T JUST STAND THERE!!!” And he would be so scared and so torn because he’d want to, but would just be terrified.
And you know, at the same time, there would be the “these kids are freaks” group to add to the pressure, just… wow, such a great idea, this needs to be a thing!

The other day I sketched a couple chibies of our characters from Seeking the Storyteller. These are just rough for right now. In the future, I will be coloring them and we’d like to offer them with the book. Possibly as things like stickers, buttons, keychains or bookmarks. We’ll see how they turn out colored!
Check out the chibies I made from our book!
Since our book is out now, we want to take it to conventions and include little bonus items, like maybe keychains and buttons of our characters… adorable chibi style <3
A series of book ideas

I had a thought of writing some sort of Geeky GLBT romance anthology thing while at Animinneapolis this weekend. You know, book one would be about conventions, book two would be about video games, book three would be about fanfiction, and so on and so forth. I guess the question is, do I write it strictly as gay romance, or should it be all sorts of romance (gay, lesbian, straight, trans, bi, asexual, and so on and so forth). Because I think I would like to try and tackle everything over the course of the books which would require a bunch of research on things I find interesting, but know nothing about. I would really like to try writing things for underrepresented couples, like asexual couples and things like that.
Thoughts? Advice?
Reblogging so more people can see and chime in on this idea :)
Jumbled ramblings of a fic idea
So I have this really weird idea that won’t probably be written anytime soon – or maybe it will, who knows, maybe work will calm down after the ridiculously busy weekend.
I’ve always had this random Persona 4 idea of, “What if the characters were switched?” As in, not the characters themselves, but who they are in the game. For example (which is one of the main ideas of the fic), what if Naoto were the popstar instead of Rise?
More behind the cut, and still a Kanji and Naoto story, just with a popstar! Naoto. Warning, spoilers to the game and weirdness ahoy!
