*pokes head back on Tumblr* Hi yes hello! My Kickstarter for the second book in my series is now live! If you’re into black, queer, magical girls then this is, perhaps, your jam.
UPDATE: We have hit the 50% mark in less than 2 weeks!

Hey everyone! I’m gonna be a cosplay guest at Nebraskon and will also have my books and stuff there. AND! My mama will be there!!! So don’t be acting all crazy (I’m kidding we can still talk BakuDeku and BNHA in general)
There’s a city. It’s like most other cities. Buildings. People. Monsters who can destroy sidewalks by vomiting acid onto the ground, and an elite group of black, queer, magical girls who work to put those monsters in their place.
See? Just like most other cities.
Bree Danvers would’ve compared it to a video game, maybe a cartoon or comic book, except black girls are rarely the heroines of the story. But there her heroine stood, plus sized and wonderful, rocking a dazzling amount of purple and defeating monsters with galactic sparkles. Galactic Purple, that was her name, and soon, Bree was joining her on a magical adventure full of transformations and after school battles to defend a city like most other cities.
And soon, others would join them, and each one would be magical in their own way… give or take a few bumps on the acid covered ground.
Heeeeeey friends, I’m doing a cool as heck giveaway on Twitter since my book is gonna be a year old TOMORROW *gasp* so you should follow me (@BrichibiTweets) on Twitter to check it out!
IT’S ONLY ON TWITTER SO GO DO THE THING!
Hey everyone! We’re guests at Anime Fargo this weekend and have all kinds of books and prints, including my new “magnifiqueNOIR/BNHA” crossover series! Come on out and say hi!
As my mama once told me: I’m not conceited, I’m convinced.
This is advice I’ll be keeping with me for the rest of my life, but it especially rings true in my line of work because self-promotion is vital. No one’s gonna know who I am as a creative if I don’t open my mouth and talk. On the pie chart of my writing career, being a diva makes up a healthy chunk of it. In order to get my work noticed, make sales, and book gigs, you gotta talk the talk so folks give you the chance to walk that walk.
*deep breath*
Know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth know your worth KNOW YOUR WORTH!
For all the other creatives out there, this piece I wrote is for you :)
I keep forgetting to share this here (lol). Here’s a way you can support my crazy endevours in this writing/cosplay space :) My partner and I are gearing up for fall convention season. Currently, we have a long trek to Texas ahead of us, and our original travel plans fell through so we’re trying to build up enough money for a Plan B, so any little bit helps.
Thanks for the support!
Reblogging in case you missed it, my partner and I are traveling from MN to TX and any extra money for the trip would be great. Thanks so much!

Since I’m all about that Tumblr life again here’s a convention update! My partner and I are headed to Anime Iowa and we’re gonna have SIX BOOKS AT OUR TABLE HOLY JEEZ! So if you wanna come check out our work (and the work of two other amazing authors) stop by Artist Alley Table 111.
(also feel free to come talk about our feelings for the new season of Free! My Hero Academia! And Brooklyn 99!)
This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
