This idea was inspired by this amazing Kanji and Naoto fanart by Sbk. I also wanted to take a crack at the “Kanji and Naoto haven’t seen each other in years” idea.

Occasionally, there’ll be a story, where Kanji and Rise are bffs. Usually, this leads to Rise playing matchmaker. Or… on a rare occasion it leads to jealous!Naoto, which is… sort of my favorite Naoto in which she is super over-analytical and precious.
So that’s where this idea comes from… only… it leads to something that Naoto never, ever ever expected.
