Lots of things to announce!
1. My holiday story, which wasn’t accepted into the Dreamspinner holiday anthology last year, has been accepted by them as its own separate work after I fixed it up a bit :) So yay! More things being published!
2. A very fun interview via MM Good Book Reviews about Double Hue has been posted here. This came complete with a 5 star review ^^

HUZZAH! Woke up to see that the short story I submitted for Dreamspinner Press’ “Juicy Bits” anthology was accepted! Yay for more published works :)
First submission news of the year, and it’s good news! HUZZAH!
Imagine, if you will, Carlos’ first week in Night Vale. He doesn’t have much time for entertainment, such as watching T.V. or tuning into the radio show that he’s heard others talking about — including his colleagues. He’s too busy trying to settle in.
But.
As he wanders around town, going to the grocery store, to the bank, and other such places he can’t help but hear the whispers. ”So that must be Carlos.” ”Oh my, he really is perfect.” ”Why did Telly cut his hair?” Carlos is confused, but he shrugs it off. The little town is weird, so these whispers could mean anything. But even his coworkers are talking about him. “Beautiful, perfect Carlos,” giggle snort. So, finally, he asks them what’s going on. They tell him about Cecil’s radio show and how he goes on and on about him.
So Carlos goes home and tunes in, and he’s surprised to hear such a low, enticing voice complimenting him in every sentence. He wonders if he should be a touch bit creeped out since he’s never met this Cecil person, but a much larger part of him feels flattered.
From that day forward, he walks around Night Vale with a smile, telling people that he is, indeed, the beautiful Carlos. Someday, he’ll call into the station and talk with Cecil, or go visit him, but for now he’s content with that smooth, wonderful voice that calls him perfect.

More Night Vale headcanons because I can’t stop. At all. I mean I tried honest but I just have to write them. Because Carlos, man. Perfect Carlos. And Cecil.
And how the heck did it get so many notes so quickly?!Wow found some time to write a headcanon yay! Thank you Night Vale for making me obsessed with you.
I’m looking through my writing blog and finding old headcanons I wrote and seeing that, suddenly, they have a lot more notes than I remember ^^;;; Happy New Year?

When something tragic happens, you want nothing more than to close your eyes and make all of the pain go away. For Gable Peterson it’s a little more complicated than that. When detective Maurice Ashford shows up at his door with news that his boyfriend, Avery Blair, has been found dead, Gable is left devastated. Seeking some sort of comfort, Gable closes his eyes and imagines a world where none of this happened.
Only, when Gable wakes up, he’s surprised to see that Avery is still alive.

So there’s this great 1940s yaoi webcomic called “Grave Impressions“ that I got the first book of at ACEN this year. The creators are great, and the story is really interesting so far. They’re hosting a year anniversary contest, so I thought I’d take a crack at it :) And you should definitely read the webcomic!
Summary: The most important rule of the one night stand is to not get attached to who you’re “standing” with. Unfortunately, Napoleon is never one to follow the rules.
Notes: I’m fairly certain it hasn’t come up in the actual comic, so I came up with a random story.

That moment when you read over what you wrote last night and discover that the entire paragraph makes no sense because you were too sleepy to know what a period is. What is grammar?
