I’ve made TMNT shotglasses before, but this is a new style. Decided to do Michelangelo first but I do plan on making the other turtles (and maybe, for a major hit of WTF nostalgia, one of Venus De Milo, lol!) As always with the glass things, glass paint is used then covered with a protective gel to make it dishwasher safe and everything.
The front is Mikey’s face, the back is the back of the bandanna, and the bottom is a turtle shell so when you look inside the glass you see it :) This item is currently available for purchase, just send me a note if interested (or if you want a certain turtle, but remember, I AM going to make them all!)
Is it sad that I remember this episode?
One of my favorite things about Batman: The Animated Series is Harley Quinn. What a wonderful creation, she was! I love making Harley Quinn things, so I always have something with her on it at the conventions I go to.
The first mirror is the first Harley Quinn mirror I’ve ever made. I had a lot of fun with it, defacing it with all the love Harley has for her puddin’ ^^ Harley herself, in the first mirror, is woodburned onto it.
The second mirror is a recent one, using the dark wood one to be the dark parts of her outfit with the other parts painted :)
If anyone is interested in having a little Harley in their life, let me know ^^
More nostalgia! This time, for Pinky and the Brain, another show I loved as a child. These are the coasters I’ve made from the series… so far, since these coasters seem to be popular at conventions ^^ NARF!
Throwback to some old school Batman! Growing up, Batman the Animated Series was like, the best thing EVER. Even now it’s still bad ass! Seriously! I bought the giant boxset and sat down, rewatched it, and I think I love it even more NOW than I did back then, it’s amazing how well that show holds up after time :)
So naturally, crafty things were in order.
These are just the coasters, I have all kinds of Batman things I’ve made (and that I’m still wanting to make). These coasters are woodburned, some painted as well and some not. I discovered heart-shaped coasters about two months ago, so I like burning couples into them. And nothing says “I love you” like Harley Q and her J-man (or Harley and Ivy, of course). I wish I would’ve known about the heart coasters when I did the Batman and Catwoman one, but… oh well.
Series in this set include: Batman the Animated series (mainly), Batman Beyond (a recent commission from Detour), and even the old school Adam West Batman (because let’s face it, that was awesome too). I hope everyone likes the things I’m posting, they’re all hand made by me :)
