Naoto with the Maid outfit in the Persona 4 Manga.
When does this happen I must know the answer! Look at Kanji’s perf chibi face!
Naoto, with a new outfit, remembering Nanako when
meet Ai Kurogami.
What is this Naoto love day?! I should be crafting not staring at Naoto *__*
Finished up that NSFW request for Brichibi and Anonymous. Hope you like it. o^o I haven’t drawn intimacy in… pfft…. a long time. So please be gentle ;; (pun pun pun).
Completed gam-gams below.
KYAH! It’s colored! Goodbye friends I am gone *__*
NSFW WIP. Yerr, I want to do more with this, but it’s almost 5 in the morning and I ‘really’ should sleep ^3^;; So I’ll get back to it after I wake up. As requested by Brichibi and an Anonymous who probably didn’t expect this to be so +18 (sorry!).
Naoto x Kanji gam-gams below.
By the gods someone drew me some OTP fanart *__*
“It doesn’t have to count.”
“Pardon me?”
“The kiss. It doesn’t have to count.”
Naoto looks at the girl sitting across from her. All sweet smiles and pigtails, Rise “Risette” Kujikawa is the picture perfect image of “girl.” She wears the uniform better than Naoto ever could, but is courteous enough not to point that out.
“What do you mean it does not have to count?”
Rise keeps the smile in place, answering the question with practiced ease, “The kiss, silly. It doesn’t have to count. Your first kiss should be special, so this one doesn’t have to count.”
“If it does not have to count, what was the point in doing it?” The logical frown is firm on her face.
“I just… I wanted to, you know? Sometimes girls just want to.” It’s not at all an honest answer, but she hopes it’ll suffice so she doesn’t have to go into the truth — ironic, she knows, since they’ve both had harsh lessons on the importance of truth.
“No, I do not know. People do things for a reason.”
“Well I had no reason. I just wanted to kiss you. But it doesn’t have to count, I know who you want it to count with.” Even if Naoto isn’t willing to say the name out loud, Rise knows who her first should belong to.
Naoto tries to keep the blushing at a minimum, but her cheeks don’t listen, “R-regardless, you should not assume that this kiss was meaningless.”
“Naoto-kun, I told you-“
“I mean it. This kiss… this was a good first kiss.”
She tries not to look too hopeful, but her voice is high and excited when she speaks, “Really? Well then, can we try for a second first kiss?”
The blush is worse the second time around, but it still makes for a good second first kiss.

So the lovely ladies Sarah Fong and Kris Lee did some fantastic Naoto and Rise cosplay pictures. I haven’t written any fandom related things in a long time, but this pic inspired me. Keep up the great work, ladies!
In case you missed it late last night, I wrote a Persona 4 headcanon thing after not having written headcanons in centuries :) Also be sure to check out the ladies I link to, they’re the ones who did the amazing cosplay.
Kanji Tatsumi by The Keeper Thief Cosplay
Kanji Tatsumi is finished! Okay, almost. I think I want to add some rivets to the jean pockets, but that’s about it.
Congrats to Jovan for building his first cosplay garment; those jeans look fabulous. He also got the wig to stay on his head. He is an innovative lifesaver and looks amazing to boot!
nnnnnNNNNGH HOT DAMN LOOK AT THAT KANJI *A*
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Hot damn.
Based on a conversation I had with my brother
WE TALK ABOUT JEAN A LOT
This is so accurate omg. Poor guy. It’s Kanji and Naoto, the sequel.
I realized this today;
You know how the japanese version of P4 implies that Naoto is a closet-fan of the Sentai franchise and how the artbook says her Persona’s design is based on Kamen Rider?
Well, today I figured something out:
The Sentai Series that came 2000 was “Timeranger” (Adapted into: “Power Rangers: Time Force” in America). It’s Sixth Ranger was named “Naoto Takizawa”.
The Sentai Series that came 2001 was “Gaoranger” (Adapted into: “Power Rangers: Wild Force” in America). It’s Sixth Ranger commonly went by the name “Shirogane”.
Naoto’s name is a combination of two consecutive Sixth Rangers, both of which were lone-wolf type characters.
Just like Naoto herself is a lone-wolf type “Sixth Ranger” to the IT!
Those magnificent developer-bastards!!!
I don’t know why this makes me so happy, but it does.
Well I guess that is something these two have in common… :c
Also protip: Never draw sad things while listening to sad music because you will cry like a bitch all over your tablet.
Happy father’s day everyone.
OMG WHY WOULD SOMEONE DO THIS?!
But, this is true, Kanji lost his father and Naoto lost both of her parents. Randomly, this brings up something that I didn’t like about the anime: they never mention Kanji’s fear of hospitals, not even once. I feel like that was an important plot point, and since they go to hospitals so often (especially later down the road) it would’ve been easy to slip it in there. They don’t mention his father being dead at all, and the whole, “He told me to be a man,” thing. Miss opportunity :(
