Went to Pride today so I did some rainbow makeup for my Wonder Woman :) It was the first time I tried makeup like this and I pretty much want to do it all the time now <3
So at Colossalcon I got to walk down a runway as Wonder Woman for a fashion show that featured my wifey’s dresses (some of which are in the picture behind me). I’ve never felt so amazing in my life <3 Here’s to more opportunities to show off what my wifey can do!

You are not dreaming our part in the show was all plus size stuff. All the stuff my wifey made was specifically for plus size because that’s what we are :)
Insecure thoughts are going to happen, they just will. Even with all of my confidence I still have that paranoid voice in my head, that kid who was called “weird” for liking anime and video games, she still talks to me like, “They’re going to make fun of you,” “Remember when they made fun of you,” and I do worry – that’s normal. The worrying stops when the cosplay is done, I put it on, I look into the mirror, and I smile. Focus on that feeling of accomplishment when you finish that cosplay, because the only person you need to impress with your cosplay is you.
I wanted to share an interview my wifey and I got to do for Geek x Girls about our cosplay and body positivity and all that good stuff :)

Decided to do Wonder Woman with my natural hair at Anime Detour :)
Got some fun pictures from Anime Detour in my Mario dress :) Thanks to Makio’s Place for the pictures, the wifey for bringing my Mario sketch to life, and Anime Detour for being a ridiculously fun weekend <3
I haven’t updated in a while because it’s been convention madness, but Anime Detour is tomorrow and I’ll be there this weekend! I’ll be Mario on Friday, Wonder Woman on Saturday, and Sunday is up in the air. A few notes:
1. We’ll have a table in Artist Alley <3 We’ll have our books, pre-orders for the re-release of “Seeking the Storyteller” with pre-order bonuses, and plenty of fun, new crafts (table pic is from Kitsune Kon last weekend, but it shows some stuff we’ll have)
2. "Love Your Cosplay Body" will be Friday @ 5 pm in Plaza 2, which is my panel all about loving yourself and how it’s important to your cosplay.
3. "It Gets Better: Anime Detour" will be Saturday @ 1:30 pm in the Grand Ballroom, and I get to be on the panel with some amazing people :)
This is the story of a geeky anime/gaming gal by the name of Chibi. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for... some sort of ride? Oh! I love to write, and I also love doing crafty things. I go to conventions with my partner and sell woodburned things, clocks, mirrors, and more! So expect to see those on here too :)
