Made a fun discovery with my new hair color this morning.
CLODS!
Quick update because I haven’t updated in a while so here we go!
1. We’ll be at Anime Central this weekend in artist alley with our crafts, our books, and cosplay stuffs. I’ll post a map before the con :)
2. Two weeks after that we’ll be at Momocon in artist alley with our crafts, our books, and cosplay stuffs. I’ll have a map posted closer to the con.
3. The very next week we’ll be at Colossalcon in artist alley with our crafts, our books, and cosplay stuffs. I’ll have a map posted closer to the con. Also, on Saturday of Colossal, our plus size geeky dresses will be in the Colossalcon Artist Alley Fashion Show and we’ll be premiering some new dresses designed by me and the wifey, and made by the wifey. I’ll be walking in the show in Wonder Woman and we have some amazing models walking in our stuff like Mario and Sonic themed dresses and such <3 <3 <3
So yeeeeeeeah this is why I haven’t updated in a while. LIFE IS HECTIC AND GEEKY!
Don’t judge me by my skin color, gender, size, or sexual preferences.
Judge me by the anime I watch.
More pictures, because I think I want to try and take pictures like this once a week, cosplay or not :) All this stuff was stuff I already had in my house, like I literally found the red hat in a box in the basement ^__^
Photo series called: Red. Curls Stripes. Smile.
It’s amazing what we just have lying around the house. Oh yeah here’s a wig, some suspenders, a hat, just… yep, have those things randomly.
She would create monsters just so he could feel human again.
—random line that popped up in my head about “Hunters.” It may or may not mean something later.
Late night thoughts going on.
I thought this would be fun to answer, since I got a lot of new followers (I see that 800, christ on a pogo stick) and all :) Feel free to answer these too, if you want.
First anime: Vampire Hunter D (and back then we called it Jap-animation or Japan-imation)
First anime series: Dragon Ball (back then they only aired six episodes)
First anime you realized you shouldn’t be watching because your parents would flip out: Wicked City
First anime series you realized was edited: Sailor Moon, thanks to a Suncoast employee breaking it down for me (aka: “OMG THEY ALL DIE?!” and also “OMFG THEY AREN’T COUSINS?! Well… o.k. actually I figured that wasn’t the case but still…)
First fandom: Gundam Wing, also know as how I discovered yaoi, how I discovered fanfiction (which I had already been writing I just didn’t realize it had a name), my first introduction to roleplaying and how I met my wifey
First OTP: Online: Heero and Duo (1x2). In my ratty notebook: Vegeta and Bulma.
Honorable mentions: Harley and Ivy, Gambit and Rogue, Robin and Batgirl, Aladdin and Jasmine, Belle and Beast, Liu Kang and Kitana, Zack and Kelly from Saved by the Bell (shut up I was really young), Tommy and Trini (because I didn’t like Kimberly and thought Trini was cooler), Buster and Babs Bunny (no relationship), Sonic and Sally. I’m probably missing some
First yaoi pairing (canon): Yuki and Shuichi from Gravitation. Also, Gravitation was my first canon yaoi anime that I watched.
First yuri pairing (canon): Uranus and Neptune from Sailor Moon, once I realized it
First hentai: Does Wicked City count? Otherwise, the answer is Bible Black, thanks to a random search engine on my college campus
First anime to make you cry: Ai no Kusabi
First tragic pairing: Seishiro and Subaru, god, even now they are my top angsty pairing
First really cracky anime: Excel Saga
First anime that disappointed you: Tenchi Muyo, because I really liked the OVA but I didn’t like the series as much
First time you didn’t like a dub: The new DBZ dub, at first, after FUNimation got it. It had been several years, I’ll never forget, because it originally ended up Goku arriving to Namek but then played reruns over and over again. Then, years later, it picked up where it left off on Cartoon Network. It threw me off because all of the voices were different. At the time, I didn’t understand that there were different studios and things like that. I adjusted to the new dub eventually.
Honorable mention: Same thing happened with Sailor Moon, they got new voices and I didn’t like them at all at first.
First anime you didn’t know was an anime: Speed Racer
First video game: Super Mario Brothers (NES)
First mature rated video game: Mortal Kombat (before ESRB existed)
First game you saw with nudity: Doom and the strip club, courtesy of my dad, not even kidding
First video game that made you feel like you weren’t a "real” girl: Virtua Fighter at the arcade. I went to play against a boy to impress him. I beat him and he walked away, pissed at me. I didn’t realize I was doing something wrong and that girls didn’t play video games.
First game where you stopped giving a fuck about your girl bits: Killer Instinct. I brought it to school on a day we were having a party and I beat the crap out of my entire class with a smirk on my face.
First game where “oh my, I’ve never play video games before, tee hee”: Marvel vs. Capcom 2, after my high school prom, with my hair and nails done and all.
First game where your girlness was blatantly picked at: Soul Calibur 2 at Anime Central one year, I was in like and they kept skipping me, thinking that I wasn’t playing. I beat the crap out of my opponent with Talim. No regrets.
First game to scare the crap out of you: Nightmare on Elm Street on the NES (I’m so lame)
First game where you completed everything like a nutcase: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
First cheap boss who took way too long to beat: M. Bison in Street Fighter 2 on had mode. Also, Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat 2. Fuck them both – if you could even get to Shao Kahn because Kintaro was a dickhead. Also, Robot Sonic/Final boss in Sonic 2, because you got no coins >.<
First time you learned that leveling up has to be done or else: Final Fantasy 7. I jumped into the crater unprepared. I regret everything, but somehow I did manage to beat it.
Quickest game you beat: Kingdom Hearst in 2 days, I did not sleep. I’m not counting fighting games because, yeah…
Game you put the most hours into: Persona 4. Well over 100.
First game to make you sad or cry: Final Fantasy X
Most addicting game: The Katamari series
First handheld: The Game Gear
Most underrated series: Guilty Gear, it really needs more love
