Who kills the bugs: Haru, but only if they’re near the pool, otherwise he doesn’t care. Rin pretends like he doesn’t care, either, but then he’ll start harassing Haru. “Just kill it already. What are you, scared?” But the truth is Rin hates bugs. He went to Australia and they have spiders like candy stores have candy.
Who hogs the sheets: Haru. He does it on purpose to hear Rin whining, because he finds Rin’s whining to be adorable.
Who hates mornings: Haru, until he gets to the bathtub. Rin’s already outside jogging.
Who’s cranky before they had their coffee: Neither drink coffee, but Haru is cranky until mackerel.
Who’s doesn’t like their mother in law: We never see Haru’s parents, or Rin’s mother, so I’m going to say neither. These two were childhood friends I’m sure their parents have had time to get used to them.
Who drives: Rin. Haru could care less about driving, until Rin suggests driving to the ocean.
Who gets horny in awkward public places: Haru. And he’s incredibly blunt about it. He strips at the site of water, he really has no filter. If he wants Rin he’ll voice it out, in front of everyone, without batting an eye. Rin will try not to blush and he always sounds annoyed but he’s always excited.
Who had a scene phase: Rin. He blames Australia.
Who wore braces: Rin, and he was one of those kids who got different colored bands for them, he gave no fucks he thought they were the coolest thing ever.
Who got bullied: Neither really, they were both well liked as kids and now.
Who collects ceramic elephants: Haru. Rin doesn’t want the house to be overrun by fish things, so Haru starts collecting elephants… because they spray water from their trunks.
Headcanon: Push Through
I haven’t written a headcanon in a million years but whatever.

Reach forward.
Slowly, carefully.
Don’t wince, don’t let him know, don’t let him see. But he does, he knows there’s something wrong.
He opens his mouth to ask, to say your name. “Sousuke?” It’s soft, always so soft, so delicate, when he’s concerned about something. “Are you all right-”
You’re quick, too quick for him to keep up with. You’ve had practice, you can work through the pain. You catch him off guard with a smile, take advantage with a kiss, and let your fingers linger on the blush of his cheeks.
A kiss, just one, can get you through anything, even a shoulder that’s beyond repair, a shoulder that’s probably crushed the very dream that Rin holds for you. You don’t tell him, you’ll never tell him, instead you let your lips rest gently against his.
Everything is fine. Everything is o.k. You two are going to swim together beautifully as a team.
Just push through.

This is so true. I mean no matter what your feelings are about Sousuke, just… omg he is obviously so in love with Rin, and I’m so terrified that Rin’s world is about to come crashing down because not only did Haru just snap at him, but Sousuke is in so much pain right now, and… ARGH THIS FUCKING EPISODE!
This makes me so sad, not just for Haru, but for Rin, too. Rin’s been trying to make both of his dreams work: making it to nationals and swimming with his friends, and what’s the one thing Sousuke told him before?
He can’t make both work.
And Haru just snapped at him and said he just wants to swim with his friends, that he’s not like him at all. So I bet Rin’s thinking… that you really can’t do both, can you? If the person who helped him so much last year feels like this, then…
…the thing I’ve been struggling with last month (around ep 2 and I haven’t touched it after ep 3). First part directly taken from the last part of Rin & Rei’s mini-drama cd… I just wanted to share what Rei’s smile does to my heart. Rin is my scapegoat. (•⊙ω⊙•)
Okay guys, so you know how Rin has a thing about the pant sleeve rolled up with the ankle bracket exposed?
Let me explain to you guys a thing I happen to know a bit about. *cough*
In the gay men’s club scene (certainly in Australia and America), guys use different attributes (like bracelets) to indicate their preferred ‘position’. Like back in the 70’s when men would use one pierced ear to indicate homosexuality— guys now use nail polish on one hand, but also ankle and wrist bracelets to indicate their sexuality and their preferred position.
As opposed to just having a bracelet, if you roll your sleeve up to expose it it shows that you want other men to notice it, and thus you are wearing it deliberately.
Generally — Right is Bottom, Left is Top.
So Rin Really does prefer the bottom. (at least with Sousuke in the second pic, I guess when he clubbin’ he wants to be the top)
