After the Mortal Kombat X announcement I have been crazy excited. I’m such a huge fan of the franchise! So I decided to do some quick closet cosplay of my favorite character, Scorpion, but a female version. Stay tuned for more, mortals!
Scorpion vs Sub-Zero

That moment when the bloodiest, most violent fighting game you’ve ever played gives you feels over a brutal death :( Bi Han was right, it is a shame that they followed their father’s footsteps. To think that they both wanted peace for their clans and then this happened :( Who knows what’ll happen in season 3. Quan Chi orchestrated all of this to get Scorpion on his side, but now that he has his “revenge,” now what?
My theories (spoilers sort of? I mean… I guess not really because it’s just MK lore that’s been known for a long time):
1. Sub-Zero returns somehow. This could work one of two ways: his little brother comes in as Sub-Zero, or Noob Saibot shows up. I actually don’t think his little brother is dead because that death was off screen, and we all know this is a show that doesn’t hide the death counts. As far as Noob Saibot goes, we now know thanks to the later MK games that Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero after he was killed by Scorpion. I wonder what Noob Saibot would do in regards to Scorpion. We know Bi Han wanted peace, but is he going to be bitter after being killed? Or, if Sub-Zero returns and its his little brother, I’m fairly certain he’s going to hate Scorpion (though he could also be focused on the cyborg thing since he’s against his clan going in that direction and they had it in the first season).
Or hell both can show up, lol.
2. Scorpion is going to realize that he’s been screwed over and joins Earth realm. I really like Scorpion not being on a side, he’s just neutral, and does whatever the hell he wants. Like, even if he joined Earth realm, in the end he’d still walk away.
Ideally, Scorpion and Sub-Zero will get the peace they deserve, maybe even work together somehow. I feel like I played a MK game once upon a time and one of their character endings was them working together? I do like the fact that legacy built up this friendship/respect the two had before. It’s been this steady flow of information with them. In the first game we pretty much though Sub-Zero did it, then as the games went on we found out Quan Chi did it, Now with Legacy we see that these two were friends when they were children, and were told that they couldn’t be friends because they are in different clans (and I really like Bi Han asking, “why,” and there’s not really an answer, they just do it because it’s been going on for so long). But even as adults, they didn’t completely follow their father’s plans. They talk civilly to one another and agree that there should be no more blood shed. So it’s like, wow, back in the 90s when I first played this game, I had no idea this rich history existed between these two characters. Though, it is possible that it didn’t, and it just developed as the games did ^^

Damn you season two of Mortal Kombat Legacy.
Damn you for building on the back story of Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
