Well before work on Trust began, KrisRix started poking at a short Kannao story. The idea got pushed aside in favor of Trust, but KrisRix kept thinking back to it now and then, especially considering so much work had been done on it already…
Now, it’s finally getting finished the rest of the way, and we’ll be posting it with a Monday-Wednesday-Friday update schedule. The project is 34 pages in total, and the first two pages are up!
While this is a standalone story and no knowledge of Trust is necessary, KrisRix does like to view it as a prequel of sorts.
This is based within the game’s story and therefore has spoilers for a later-in-the-game event. It is rated PG.
See you on Wednesday!
YEAH OKAY finally going to be posting Comfort, the short Kannao doujin I’ve been mentioning on and off. It’s a prequel of sorts to Trust, and once it’s done posting, Resolve will begin.
*reblogs so fast that she breaks the button*
Am I the only one who thinks they should get Tiana’s Palace at Disneyland/World? They could serve southern cuisines, and they could have character dining!
SERIOUSLY THERE ARE TWO NEW ORLEANS THEMED RESORTS? WHY NO TIANA RESTURANT!? THERE IS A SMALL LAKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCES IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT
Wait this isn’t a thing? Why the hell not?!
i just wanted to clarify some things
artists know the risk they are taking when they post their art online. people are inevitably going to take it apart, color edit it, flip it around or otherwise post it uncredited.
saying that an artist shouldn’t post their work if they don’t want it bastardized is probably the stupidest stance on this subject you could take. if all artists followed this line of reasoning, there would be no art on the internet.
when an artist posts their work, they are trusting you to enjoy it respectfully. and when you betray that trust either knowingly or unknowingly, it’s like saying the artist’s time, skills and thoughts aren’t worth anything.
you are NOT entitled to an artists work just because they decided to trust you enough to share it with you.
an artist is within their right to feel upset that someone has used their work in a way they never intended it to be used. they are within their right to ask for it to stop and not happen again.
just because it’s “bound to happen” doesn’t mean it’s any less deplorable.
This whole mentality of “you should expect the worst when you do this” needs to stop. What I should expect is for people to be respectful. Aren’t we taught, as children, to be respectful towards one another? Why does that suddenly change when we’re adults? We go from, “Don’t do anything that would hurt someone else/don’t take something that’s not yours/know the difference between right and wrong,” to, “Well you should expect backlash/theft/bashing/hate because you put yourself out there, it’s your fault that this is happening to you because you had the nerve to share your work/say something/exist.”
BREAKING: Seattle becomes the first city to raise its minimum wage to $15/hour. SHARE if Congress should take Seattle’s lead!
the current minimum wage (at least in NY) is $8.00 and less than a year ago it was $7.25, so yes.
Wow
Nope nope and nope. Make better decisions and life and you won’t be working a minimum wage job.
^ That’s literally the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever read in my life. Are you the kind of person that goes up to homeless people and tells them to get a job? Good fuuuuuuuuuuuucking lord. If everyone was able to get a “better” job, there would be absolutely no-one populating the mass expanse of the workforce. Are you unable to see how this suggestion is completely and utterly illogical? And extremely rude?
Thank god people in Seattle have good heads on their shoulders so single mothers working 3 minimum wage jobs to feed their children can finally be treated like actual live human beings with needs and not capitalistic automatons.
“Just get a better job” is the most white bread privilege shit I’ve ever heard.
I don’t even think it’s white privilege. I think it’s just near-bottomless dumbfuckery.
“Get a better job,” they said.
Suddenly, every custodian everywhere quits their job and gets a better one. Now, upon entering public restrooms, everyone is handed a spray bottle and toilet brush, because now they have to scrub their own shit out of that public porcelain throne. Women’s restrooms come complete with plastic bags, because they have to bring their soiled period products home with them and dispose of them at home, because there is no more public waste removal.
“Get a better job,” they said.
All fast food employees quit and find a “better job”. No more fast food places! There also aren’t any restaurants. Better learn to cook your own shitty garbage burgers. You have only yourself to yell at if you forget the cheese.
“Get a better job,” they said.
Retail stores no longer have any employees. All shopping must be done online, but you have to drive out and pick up the supplies yourself because the Fedex people quit and got better jobs, too.
“Just get a better job,” they said!
You now have to grow and make every single thing you ever consume for the rest of your life, because no one wants to do it for you at $7 an hour.
Fuck you.
