The others don’t bring up Steve’s past often because they’re worried it’s a sore subject. But teen Spidey doesn’t have that filter, and is just excited to meet a guy from the 40s. Steve enjoys it - it’s not often he gets reminded of the happy parts of his early life.

More of this, please.

Trying something new with the woodburned coasters where you put them together to create an image, in this case, normal suit Spider-man and black suit Spider-man.  I know in the comics black suit Spider-man has a straight up black mask, but I thought it would look better like this with the burning  :)

The developing friendship of Peter Parker and Flash Thompson

THIS!  This is the OTHER THING I loved about this movie, especially when Flash was like, “I’m sorry.  Your uncle died, I’m sorry.”  I just love that they made him more than just the school bully, and this is even after Peter humiliated him with the basketball scene, he took a second to swallow his pride like, “Hey, I’m really sorry for your loss.” He didn’t freak out when Peter slammed him against the lockers, he was just like, “I get it,” and just… that was really powerful to me.

Sewn Together Reflections has some comic book themed items available at the shop, perfect for fans of the Joker, Bizarro, Captain America, and other iconic characters.  You can get them right on time for the holidays  ^^  And, as always, we do take commissions, so feel free to place an order  :)  There’s still time to get something before Christmas!  Just send me a note here or a message on our Etsy page!

#hey avengers fandom #aunt may exists #and she’s gr8

This part.  Just.  One of the many reasons why I loved this movie.  I loved the connection he had with not only Aunt May, but Uncle Ben (which, BRAVO movie, because everyone knows that Uncle Ben dies, we were all expecting it, but it still hurt my heart.  It wasn’t just a flashback, or him being like, “So my uncle died,” and they even had TIME TOGETHER beforehand, and just… good job!).

But Aunt May.  Dear lord.  She feels so, so important to him.  And this part just gives me this feeling that she knows, she KNOWS, about everything going on in Peter’s life, and she’s just like, “It’s o.k.”  And all of the crap he’s gone through just melts away, if even for a moment.

A new piece I did about the new Spider-man movie.  Is it worth your time?  Check out the article and find out!  If you’ve seen the new movie, what are your thoughts on it?

After seeing The Amazing Spider-man I decided…

… that if he were a superhero, Yosuke Hanamura would be Spiderman.

You know, not really the cool guy but still really likable.

Enjoying his new powers by flinging himself around the city and cheering.

Kind of being a smart ass when dealing with bad guys (and occasionally being corny, but it makes him endearing).

Meaning well but not always doing what’s right, but trying his best to fix it when he realizes it.

Being really awkward around the girl he likes, to the point of being adorable.

… am I the only one in the fandom that will see a movie or something and think about who the Persona characters would be in said movie?
