If the kannao twins wouldn’t stop crying…
This just came to mind last night. I’m getting over being sick after Anime Detour, so I’ve been taking a bunch of medicine. My partner randomly got me kid’s medicine, but jeez that stuff knocked me right out after a cap full. I was amused to see that on the back it says, “Do not use to put your kids to sleep.”
Which got me thinking, how would Kanji and Naoto handle crying twins? Especially Naoto, because I mean, detective work AND parenthood?
Kanji: Oh! I have an idea!
Naoto: I do as well, but mine is not medically correct.
Kanji: What?
Naoto: … nothing, what is your idea?
Kanji: I could sing them a lullaby or somethin’… what were you gonna say?
Naoto: Nothing.
Kanji: Naoto…
Naoto: *sigh* I was not actually going to suggest we give them cold medicine, I was simply going to mention it as a method irresponsible parents use.
Kanji: Why was ya gonna mention it if you wasn’t gonna do it?
Naoto: It… is always good to have a last resort?
Kanji: *frowns*
Naoto: All right, all right, let us start singing then.

So after spending time on KrisRix’s livestream last night I discovered that, apparently, a bunch of people love my headcanons? All right I kiiiiinda already knew that, but I learned that quite a few people are looking forward to the birth of the twins.
So ever since I’ve been writing Kanji and Naoto headcanons, they have twins. I don’t know why they have twins, they just do. But I haven’t written anything in regards to them having said twins.
Now is the time!
Just a fair warning: headcanons might not come as often, since I’m actually getting a book published (check out the cover and synopsis here!) so my main focus is that, followed by getting ready for conventions. So… yeah :) But I still love Kanji and Naoto, so occasionally you might spot a headcanon or two sporadically in the tags ^^
