The wifey finished the front side to the blanket she made and it is STUNNING! It’s over 800 squares that she hand cut and sewed to make this SWEET BLANKET!!! SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT INDEED!!!
This blanket is going to be our example/mine to keep, but she is willing to make more and make them of other characters, you just have to shoot her a message.

I think what hurts my heart the most about Iwata passing away is that he was legit one of the last people in the industry who believed that video games should just be fun, and that everyone should be able to play and enjoy them.
None of this casual vs. hardcore garbage or whatever it is having to “prove” yourself to be a “real gamer”. He really believed that video games were meant for everyone who wanted to play.
And it hurts my heart to know that there’s one less person in the industry that believes in that.
So I got to write about LGBT characters in video games for WatchMojo.com and the video got posted today. I’m super happy that I got to write the script for it… and super amused/not even remotely surprised at comments like, “Why not do top 10 Straight Characters next,” because… it’s Youtube, but kudos to the amount of, “Please to be shutting up,” responses to said comments.
Anyhow, here’s the video! Also, there’s some spoilers (not too many), but just wanted to throw the warning out there.
EDIT: Just as a heads up, some reactions in the video may not be the best in regards to the characters’ sexuality (as in, some characters may not agree with another character being part of the lgbt family), which in no way reflects my feelings. It’s part of the story, and sometimes, stories have people who react poorly to us, but that doesn’t make us any less awesome.
Also, sometimes, people who react poorly need time to adjust (lord knows I have personal experiences with that and coming out), so even if the initial reaction isn’t the best, there’s a chance that, overtime, that person will come around. Certainly don’t put your life on hold waiting for someone’s approval, but also be open to the idea that maybe, someday, they’ll stand with you on this :)

Finally getting around to the edits from A.Stevens - the delay is totally, TOTALLY my fault with real life and all. Dude, I can’t tell you how many squats and push-ups went into the prep for this cosplay. And I was so proud of the final results. I worked damn hard on this, and I’m glad it shows. I definitely need to get back into shape. I’d love for this build to be my “default.”

So hey, yeah, I’m a freelance writer for WatchMojo.com now :) I get to write scripts for their videos. And so, I thought I’d share the first posted video.
