I honestly am not thrilled that Naoko Takeuchi is working on Sailor Moon Crystal. I dislike a lot of the radically feminist tones of Crystal (I.e., the very blatantly feminist theme song, Tuxedo Mask being written out whenever possible), which I can only assume were her doing.

I am legit crying with laughter.

Like, who has EVER looked at Sailor Moon and thought “nope, nothing feminist about this here story all about women who are strong and capable and kick ass in heels and nail polish.”?

And of course, Tuxedo Mask being written out of everything totally explains why he’s in every episode and gives Sailor Moon advice and strength, yup yup.

OMG!  So back when my partner and I started dating, she came to visit me at my dad’s house.  At one point she rested her head in my lap, or something, and my dad called my mom freaking out because “omg I think she’s gay.”  (at this point he doesn’t care but at the time he did).

What’s funny is that, like, my best friend in high school, before I started dating my partner, before I even knew I liked girls?  OMG we would LAY ALL OVER EACH OTHER!  Like we shared the same bed for sleepovers and laid all over each other and like I would just walk into her house when I visited and just have dinner and stay the night and cuddle and stuff, like, you’d think we were dating or something.  I mean sure she was 100% straight and still is and all that but, man, I still find it funny.

So I do have more Daisho con pictures, but I wanted to post this one, because this was the con of me meeting fans… of me.  Which really, really blew my mind because I was not expecting it at all, and I really hope I didn’t sound too much like a flustered blubbering mess of “OMG YOU FOLLOW ME?!”  But I probably did.

Anyhow, this is just one of the pictures, but I wanted to share it because this guy was a real sweetie.  He was really polite to the point of asking if it was o.k. if he put his arm around me for a picture.  I didn’t catch his name, though  :(  But he follows my tumblr, so whoever you are it was really great to meet you  <3

And randomly on Facebook Daisho cosplay staff asked if I would be a judge next year for their cosplay competition and do a panel because they think I’m awesome and didn’t realize I was there?  And just… uh… wow, holy wow!
