In the many adventures of Bri and the “Road to Anime Milwaukee,” many coasters are being made for our artist alley table. So many, oh lord, so many @.@
No sleep til Milwaukee! Just kidding there will be sleep BUT NOT MUCH!

No sleep til Milwaukee! Just kidding there will be sleep BUT NOT MUCH!
This is what happens when I find clearance wood pieces at JoAnns, I take it home and woodburn part of a Super Mario Brothers level. Here are some pics from beginning to end, from the initial sketch of the end of World 1-1, then the burning process, all done by hand @.@
Why do I do this things?
But I do like the brinks Mario is standing on little woodburner tool did its thing!
Anyhow, it’ll be at our artist alley table for Anime Milwaukee next month along with some other woodworks, plushies, and all sorts of fun stuff :) Whee con season!
Con season is coming up so it’s time to plug in the woodburner and grab the paintbrushes! Progress pictures to final product of a Sailor Moon Crystal woodburning I just finished.
Oh lord the insane projects I take on…
Coaster set pics from start to finish, starring Wind Waker Link and Zelda!
1. Sketch
2. Outline with woodburner
3. Shade with woodburner
4. Paint
Still working to get stuff done for Youmacon, still excited to be going, still in need of caffeine to keep going.
Because I apparently have a need to do crazy projects before a con. Sailor Moon Crystal woodburning/painting is done! How it came to be:
1. Man that image is gorgeous I wanna woodburn the thing.
2. Sketch the thing.
3. Woodburn the parts I want to be burned and wonder why I have these ideas the week before a con.
4. Paint with acrylic paint. Notice that the bow is all little dots. Once again question my sanity but grab a pencil, dip it in paint, and go.
I still have to put the protective coating on it, but for now it’s complete and ready for Anime Fusion :)
