I submitted my story over to Harper Voyager this morning for their open call. Scared? YOU BET I AM! *anxious feelings of anxiousness go!* But now that the story is done, I can look at other places too, and agents, and just… OH GOD I’M TRYING TO DO THIS THING!
Just finished the last chapter of the story I’m trying to get published. Huh fucking zah! Now time to edit, edit, EDIT, then whore myself out to as many places as I can. Dreams coming true? You betcha!
Bad news: I lost my job yesterday.
Good news: I lost my job yesterday.
Better news: I got a new job offer today that starts in 2 ½ weeks that pays more and is more related to my major.
The best news ever: The book I’ve been working on is at the end, will be done shortly, and ready to be re-edited and sent to publishers *keeping fingers crossed forever*
The even more bestest news: Working to make my writing dreams come true :)

So um… since people actually responded that tidbit I posted, I went ahead and finished it.

Pairing: Kanji and Naoto (of course)
Warnings: SPOILERS TO THE END OF THE GAME, spoilers to the Persona 4 anime, spoilers to everything o.k.? Angst, character death (?), attempting to use Kanji’s wonderful dialect, and the fact that I haven’t written fic in a long time.
Notes: Got this idea after seeing the preview for the last episode of the anime and seeing that the team gets third level personas (in P4 Golden, at least). Considering how their persona leveled up in the anime, I thought, well now that there’s a third level, maybe they’ll level up like this. Also, I like how the anime made it so when the persona was hit, the persona user felt it, so I mix that idea in this fic with the standards of the game (you know, the characters having weapons and all that).
Extra Note: Fixed the formatting, since tumblr seemed to eat it when I posted it originally.
People often say that when tragedy strikes, everything moves in slow motion. For Naoto Shirogane it is the exact opposite. Time has two modes of speed for her on March 21st – too fast, and stopped.
